I would NEVER allow a Yorkie to go outside at night, unattended....but then I have LIVED the horror of a tiny Chi being taken by an owl.....that was in 1975....havent done THAT again! Hopefully, you wont loose your little yorkie puppy to the same fate, even tho the probability is probably about at least 80% you will. The fortunate thing is, after you witness the horror and hear the screams of your precious little pup, as it is carried off in the sharp talons of an owl or hawk, and if you are fortunate enough to be able to hear the blood chilling screams of your precious pup being disemboweled alive by the owl or hawk, that is usually enough to break you from ever allowing your precious baby out in the darkness, alone, unsupervised by yourself.....hopefully. It is a horrific scream you will NEVER forget......
I am so sorry this happened to you. I can't even imagine the nightmare you lived through. Reading this will haunt me for a long time. Thanks for posting your painful story. It very well may save the life of another pup.
