Neutering is performed on pups appox. 6 months old to prevent testicular cancer and can help with marking. My adopted rescue was neutered at one year old, he is 4 yo, he does not mark. Neutering this dog now will not stop the marking. I am sure it will aid in preventing testicular cancer but am not 100% sure on this. Hopefully more knowledgeable members can give better advise on testicular cancer.
