You actually have an enormous amount of learning to do before you breed....you are endangering your female and the stud as well, leaving them unattended to "do the deed unsupervised"....he can be irreparably damaged. The babies that may happen from this breeding.....do you have health certifications/history of the male and female for at the very least 7 generations back? There can be all kinds of deformities and congenital defects that may surface in any of these puppies. Are you going to be medically responsible for deformed or terminally ill babies that may be born? Your female could die having this litter of puppies.....are you ready to sacrifice her life of a litter of genetically unknown puppies, for friends?
There is soooooo much missing from this situation.....The fourth sentence in your post speaks volumes.....you have about 4 years of intense research, studying, genetic research, Yorkie lines that are healthy and ones that are notoriously unhealthy, and which lines you just do NOT mix and match because of issues that have a propensity to surface. Please, rethink this thing you are about to do...is it worth the life of your female? That is a question you should ask everytime you breed her. |
with all due respect to OP this is exactly why I own superior pet dogs, cats, & horses and leave the breeding to folks that know what they are doing..breeding animals can be very dangerous in untrained situations even with the best intentions, and can perpetuate consequences to innocent newborns that don't deserve their fate!
