Sounds like your baby will feel better very soon as you are feeding him that easy to digest diet.
I will PM you the details of the chewable Pepcid( Famatodine) . I got them as I wanted to be able to change the dose and also taper it off he no longer needed the meds. The pharmacy calls your vet for a prescription and will only supply with vet's orders.
I keep the meds in the fridge and just pull out a few as needed to warm up to room temperature. They are about 1/2 inch diameter and very easy to cut.
I order 5 mg tabs and cut them into halves or quarters as needed.
