What weight is your dog and what time of day does he tend to get GERD or tummy issues? My dog can throw up bile in the early morning so I give him the Pepcid only at night before bed. If the dog is small and only around 5 pounds then splitting the human 10 mg pill could be hard!

Just hung up with the vet. She did confirm that a quarter of pepcid is good, and did say that although I gave him a full one last night on accident, it shouldn't cause any real issues.
I'm off to the store to get some chicken and raw pumpkin for him. going to see what we can do about this upset tummy by tomorrow, otherwise, back to the vet for another exam.
