Thanks for your reply. Good that you checked with the vet and he says it is OK.
What weight is your dog and what time of day does he tend to get GERD or tummy issues? My dog can throw up bile in the early morning so I give him the Pepcid only at night before bed. If your dog has trouble in the day then perhaps a morning dose would be best? If early morning AND day, one can give the Pepcid twice a day.
I gave the doses on my previous mail, but you could also check with your vet.
If the dog is small and only around 5 pounds then splitting the human 10 mg pill could be hard!

Just read your latest post, but I would still appreciate the answers to my queries? Could be giving the wrong dose or at the wrong time for his issues?
