My sister has had her large breed dogs fixed before they started lifting their legs and they always squatted for the rest of their lives. I prefer a male dog to squat bc it won't spray when they pee. Luckily for me, even thought Toto lifts his leg, his pee stream is nothing more than a dribble, even when he really has to go. Weirdest thing ever.
