Hi and welcome to YT . I'm so very sorry your girl is suffering like this, my gosh, how miserable for both of you!

A few things...what happened w/ Atopica...usually that works wonderfully. Have you tried Apoquel yet? What happened also when you used steroid?

To me, this looks like pyoderma, which is an overgrowth of staph intermedius on the skin...it is diagnosed via a very simple skin smear...then treated w/ Simplicef x 30 days. Has that ever been done.

The other thing you should look at since these are recurrent is Cushings Disease - read this overview and see if it fits: Cushings (Hyperadrenocorticism)

Here is a thread on how to approach allergies: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/die...tart-here.html

And here is where to find a Vet Derm, which I HIGHLY recommend asap: acvd.org | Home | Veterinarians with specialized training in skin, ears, and allergy
