Unfortunately in puppies, KC can actually last months for some...a real bummer, I know. The important thing is to medicate so that it does not progress to pneumonia.

So did she contract the KC from the kennel cough vaccine then (which is usually the case)? If so, I'd avoid ever getting that vax again as it's not a core vaccine...I never get it for mine...just distemper, parvo, and rabies.
