In a home cooked diet, you'll often see amounts that are less than you would expect. This is because the amino acid requirements may be met for your dog with the 20g of turkey.
If this person is a vet nutritionist I wouldn't worry about the diet in terms of it being properly formulated. I personally don't think my dogs would eat all those veggies. I use a lot of potatoes and peas.
