No tests were ever run on his urine to check for UTI or anything. Next time I will know to have them do a urine analysis :/
I first had thought of diabetes but thought it would be pretty rare in a pup his age, I couldn't find much info about it on the internet.
Also his coat has become dull, dry, and mostly sticks up instead of laying down. Is this a symptom of either diabetes or kidney issues?
I won't withhold water from him as it seems he really does need it. He uses his puppy pad almost 100% of the time I have one in 2 locations of the house so he can get there quickly. He soaks about 3 pads per day. |
