Same here. Duchess knows which house all of her doggie friends live. It could be just me but I believe regular walks teaches them where they live. We take several different routes and Duchess leads us right back to our house. I think walking your dog regularly and on different routes can help them find their way home in some cases.

In fact my last yorkie got out of the house and was out for about a half hour before I noticed she was gone (had handyman working on some projects for me). When I went outside to look for her, I just called her and she came running.
