While there is no hurry in one sense to bring her in - the clicking sound is *abnormal*. Hip dysplasia and or Leggs Calves Perthes disease can have a slow onset. There might be more than one thing going on. LP luxating patella is very common in this breed. Your vet should have already checked every joint - but sadly many vets do not give a proper and thorough examination.


Xrays are the only diagnostic tool to definitely identify either HD or LCP. Knees can be diagnosed on physical examination only.
