 cutting hair too short too early
I have left my 4 month old puppy with my 12 year old niece and she decided to give him a haircut (because he was too hot). When I came back I rushed to the groomers to fix it (it looks pretty ugly), and they totally freaked me out. They said they never trim hair short on puppies under 6 month of age, he might have damage to his coat later on and even have bold spots?! I never heard of anything like that and can't find any info on this subject. Sounds a bit strange to me. They told me to give him hair growth vitamins and keep him out of the sun. Will he be ok? Any advice will be appreciated. |
