 Which Puppy is a Parti-Gene Carrier?
my traditional female was bred with a parti gene carrier and she had 4 puppies. all have traditional colors with some white at the chest. one of them in particular has a very deep distinctive patch of white on her chest/ while it is present on the others but not as distinctive. I assume not all of the puppies are carriers. can someone please enlighten me as to the ratios of carrier vs. non-carrier traditional? also, what kind of testing is available to determine whether a particular puppy is, in fact, a parti carrier? thanks. |
