I was advised to give Daisy milk thistle. My internal medicine vet told me it didn't matter which one. She initially recommended Denamarin or Marin, but Daisy has allergies to some of the ingredients. I ended up buying one on Amazon, it's called Nature's Answer and it has a glycerin base. I dose Daisy at 50mg/kg which is a higher dose than most. The problem is I forget to give it to her half the time. It hasn't done anything for her liver (good or bad) as she's had the same liver enzyme profile for the past 9 or so of her 15 years of life.
