Default What am I doing wrong?

Hello everyone! I have 2 male Yorkies and I am definitely doing something wrong when it comes to health or breed specific care. So my first male Yorkie who is 2 years old has great hair that drops to the floor but it's very dry. He doesn't seem to have any oil or shine in it, which I thought was normal. When I got my second Yorkie he had this gorgeous fine coat that dropped to the floor with lots of shine and healthy oil in it. They literally looked like they were different breeds because of the healthy coat! I started thinking it was because of the different bloodlines BUT fast forward about 4 months the baby who had the shiny and oily coat now has a dry coat too!! I don't believe it's a grooming issue, I think it comes from the within!

All that I do is feed Royal Canine and water. No vitamins or supplements. They absolutely love the food and it's what both breeders feed before I got them.

We tried a raw diet for some time but had no luck with the long coats and the mess we need kibble.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. New to Yorkies and I need to know the regimen to keep them as healthy as possible. 🐶🐶
