Hmm, pre-exam should have caught something like that. Straining to urinate is also common after a female spay as well. Keep us updated after the US, and potentially get a second opinion. My little man has a bump under his ahem, "removal" but that's because his old vet did a terrible stitch job. Hence, new vet.
