I think its awesome you have an interest in showing Yorkies, you came to the right place there are a lot of people on here with a lot of experience. I think your first step should be to go and attend a show. Watch the dogs and the handlers, you might even be able to have a conversation with some Yorkie people.
Take your time, and have fun. This will give you an idea of what you are getting involved with.
