My cousin called me today and was asking about a good flea and tick shampoo and dip that she can get at the store....I have NO idea about effectiveness of store bought flea/tick control. Does anyone use flea and tick shampoo you buy at the grocery store in the pet department? She asked about Hartz Ultra Guard....I told her I do not have this issue so I do not need this product....does anyone know about this product and if it is any good? I know they pulled something off the shelves years ago because it was killing dogs.....all I remember was it had a black label on the bottle!!!! Does anyone have any suggestions for a cost effective, store bought flea/tick shampoo, that wont make her dogs sick?
