I have not seen many dogs being walked off leash. I have unfortunately seen a lot of dogs that got out. Most likely they had cabin fever stuck in the backyard all day. Or not fixed and smell a female somewhere. So many irresponsible pet owners.

But as far as farm and sled dogs... No problem there bc they have a job to do and that keeps their mind busy. It's the poor dogs locked in their backyards day in and day out. And if you were to see our neighborhood and the lot sizes we have, they are very small and the backyards are like a bowling lane. No room at all for a large dog to get enough exercise, even not enough for a medium dog!
