Unfortunately yes I can imagine that - Don't get why you have a dog and keep them outside. Sure I understand farm dogs - dogs herding cattle etc but even then they have access to fresh water and a place to find shade and sleep in the barn or some such structure.


Sled dogs is another working breed especially if you are training them to be sled dogs.


Where I walk in my city I don't see dogs in the backyard so much and definitely not where I live.


And mainly dogs when I walk my neighbourhood are kept on lead too. I guess we city Canucks maybe more apt to obey the leash laws that are everywhere.
