We brought Teddy home from the breeder when he was 8 months old. Each dog is different, but I think we had an advantage having another Yorkie in the house since Teddy was accustomed to a pack. Teddy and Max are full brothers from different litters.
But, don't worry. Lisa's Katie is an inspiring example of how happy a Yorkie can be in similar circumstances as yours. Katie clearly LOVES life with Lisa and her husband. Casey will come around in time.
