I can speak about my little girl and her other mom. I could hear the love in her voice and know it was heartbreaking for her to give Katie up. She knew that Katie was going to a home where she would be adored, where she would be given the love, playtime, and exercise that would keep her happy and healthy. Katie finished her championship when she was fifteen months old. She was raised in a home environment, and she was used to going on many adventures, including trips to the park, swimming, continued training, and lots of love and attention. These hobby show breeders, who raise their dogs in home environment, would not be able to continue their breeding programs the way they do if they did not re home some of their dogs. I could not give Katie up for anything, but I have deep respect for the woman who did. She puts her heart and soul into trying to better the breed and also to give her dogs a wonderful life. Showing was only one small facet of Katie's life. She has such a love of life and adventure, which along with impeccable training, made her a very loving, happy little girl who is all Yorkie and terrier.
