My last girl was 17 years and 2 months old when she had to be put down. She was 95% blind and about the same deaf, but she was healthy and happy, slept most of the day, would cry so loud when I had to leave her alone the neighbors across the road could hear her. She was still playful but in a different way. 16 y/o is wonderful.
