 My beloved Xena is in Heaven
2 months ago today - May 16th - I had to let go of my little baby girl Xena. She was 12 years old and had had Cushings disease for 4 years - my terrific Vet extended her life but, in the end, diabetes and acute pancreatitis damaged her kidneys to where they could not function. She was my first dog and the best decision I ever made in my life. I have a Remembrance Corner for her in my den with her ashes and pictures. She gave me 12 years of heaven and unbridled joy. I miss her terribly. |
