Fwiw, Jackson ate RC for a little over a month at one point and he got 'flabby' or chubbier looking quickly. No idea if it was the food, carbs, etc, or anything else. I switched him over to Fromm grain inclusive and he got the same way. He was pretty active still as far as I remember. But every dog is different. Jackson just seems to do better on either grain-free or limited ingredient type foods. Middle of the road proteins/fats.
