I live in Tennessee where bugs are bad too. See a flea wash your baby with Dawn dish soap to kill quickly. Vet recommended. Comfortis works here for my baby. No topicals use a pill chewable. My baby gets her's administered by my vet friend each month because she is so little and he cares. You want to kill the crawlers but the ones inside too. I'll try to find out tomorrow the exact name and post for you. She is tick, flea and heart worm free. Tennessee is also very bad for these varmints and its recommended treatment all year long.
Dawn does work for a quick fix. Just think they use it on birds to remove the oil from spills. Just be careful of their little eyes. Safe for family and home also. Good luck. |
