If she is used to the crate, I would definitely keep up that training. There are times that they just need a "time out", not a punishment, just some time to chill. Anna and Willie do ok in a crate. Barney is terrible in one. However, I've noticed he hides under the bed or the couch when he gets stressed. I probably need to work on crate training him so that he has a chill spot when he needs it.
