My son has learning disabilities and he is the kindest, most gentle, most precious human God ever put on the face of the earth. He certainly keeps me grounded and his kind spirit and gentleness and love for EVERYONE, even those that mean nothing but harm or ridicule towards him, has certainly snapped my head and heart full circle......he has taught me tolerance where it is not found in others, and he sees only goodness and kindness in everyone, even those that mean to do him harm...THAT has been MY biggest challenge in life.....My son, on the other hand, sees only goodness and kindness and well intentions in everyone he meets.....this is a source of soul shattering worry for me, as I try to establish some form of protection for him when I am no longer around him to watch out for him.
