I do not know if you already breed or are thinking about breeding in the future, but I think it is intelligent to 'think' about options under every scenario you can imagine and do so before they occur. Your eventual actions may/will change over time anyway. When my turtle died in childhood, there was no cremation option. We put him in a paper bag and someone stole the bag off the back porch while we were preparing to bury him, so there is always something you didn't consider, too.
It is a sad subject, but something we all face, and may have faced before, and with different answers. From my perspective, no apology is needed. Again, if you do breed, I hope you never need the answer to your question!
