TashasMom - I hope most of us don't bash breeders. I really don't think we do. I think our criticisms are more toward people who really don't know what they are doing - and want to breed their cute little dogs - so that their "children can enjoy the experience," or because "My dog is so cute that I want more just like her," etc. etc. etc.
I think your work with animals is to be greatly admired. You have obviously had some experience breeding and appear to be wanting to do it for the right reasons.
I can't imagine why people would criticize you. But - if they do - just turn the other cheek - get a little thicker skinned - and don't pay any attention to them. I don't know what else you can do. You certainly don't need to justify yourself and your breeding to anyone.....as long as you are doing it the right way for the right reasons.
