The biggest of my concerns is that he may have some disease the vet is missing as here in my country the Yorkie is not as popular. I was thinking of liver shunt and I am going to the biggest dog hospital in my country next week to finally find out what he has and if the damage the roundworms did is recoverable. Do you guys have any experience with these specific diseases of yorkies? And do you know how can I feed him as he doesn't like any food anymore?
Glad he is showing some energy..that's a good sign.

Have you tried canned dog food yet? I'm afraid to suggest it though as it may cause diarrhea. Does the vet sell a prescription food for low-appetite dogs...bc our vets over here sell that kind of food.

You could also try sprinkling some Parmesan cheese powder on his food, as it's nice and pungent smelling and enticing for dogs. But if there is truly no appetite whatsoever, then he really needs to see the vet again as something is definitely wrong.

I don't have roundworm experience but for liver shunt, read this: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/die...obias-dvm.html
