About soft vs hard food, all that I read was saying that hard food doesn't stick to teeth as much as soft one, and yorkies have a predisposition for tartar acumulation...Until now we didn't had any problems, last year the vet said his teeth look very good compared to other yorkies his age, and I would hate if he would develop problems because of the food change...
I will try the water aditive but I don't think I will have any luck with the cloth theeth brushing, because I have a baby toothbrush and he runs away when he sees it. I don't get it, all yorkies are like this, running when they see something new or that they don't like?

It's just not true that hard food doesn't stick to their teeth. Good luck!
