I changed 4 brands in 3 years, I don't think that is too often...
I know sometimes they don't want to eat, my mom has a dog and he has a day every few months when he just won't eat and he is fine. But Chewie thows up if he doesn't eat, and I don't think that cam be good.
About soft vs hard food, all that I read was saying that hard food doesn't stick to teeth as much as soft one, and yorkies have a predisposition for tartar acumulation...Until now we didn't had any problems, last year the vet said his teeth look very good compared to other yorkies his age, and I would hate if he would develop problems because of the food change...
I will try the water aditive but I don't think I will have any luck with the cloth theeth brushing, because I have a baby toothbrush and he runs away when he sees it. I don't get it, all yorkies are like this, running when they see something new or that they don't like? |
