Thank you Wylie's Mom and Harrysmum, it's very nice of you to reply and for your wishes. My partner is doing well so far, however, his transplant is due in the near future.
Unfortunately I've left it a too late now to get Jake's passport and to leave him sleep over for a night with the couple. I've bought him new toys but will give him some old toys, his blanket and anything else to make him feel at home. After this episode, there is no way I'm going to leave him behind me again. Even my partner misses Jake, he has to see him almost everyday on Skype!
