It's a privilege here also. She usually "asks" to get on the bed. Always waits to be told to "come up".
House training is actually going very well. She either goes to the door and sits or lately she has started something new. And that's using her nose to hit my leg to tell me she needs to go. She just started that a few days ago.
My mom thinks this is seperation anxiety from my husband. So I have to find a way for her to be ok with his leaving. She really loves him!
