Sorry I have been meaning to get on the last few days, but I kept getting sidetracked with school.
Macy Girl is doing much, much better compared to last week. She isn't struggling anymore. She will dry retch/gag at times and has thrown up very little phlegm. Is that something I should be concerned about? The only time I've seen her panting harder than normal was last night before she went to bed, but once she calmed down, she was fine and went straight to bed. She woke up happy this morning and is carrying her treat around throughout the house.
I have a question, though. She is currently on butorphanol for her collapsed trachea and sildenafil for her pulmonary hypertension. Vetmedin is also given, but the vet said that if Macy does not take it, it is fine. I wanted to ask you all if I should continue giving her Vetmedin even if she does not like it?
