I haven't started tracking calories yet. The reviews of the HR model are excellent. I like having the heart rate monitor. Thank you so much for telling me about this, I'm so glad I decided to get it. I have never felt so in control of my diet as I do now. I've been eating healthy and exercising for years now, but as you age your metabolism slows down and I just felt like I couldn't do enough exercise to eat enough. The elliptical while good for my heart, but really tires me out and I can't do more than 40 minutes a day. I also do the weight training every other day, but keeping my weight stable is so challenging. With this I feel like all I have to do is take a few more steps and walking just doesn't tire me out like the elliptical does and I can do it several times a day. I'm planning on doing this along with my other exercises and trying to reach my goal of 5 miles a day, if that doesn't work, I'll add more miles.
Anyway, thank you I just feel so excited about this and I hope it really aids in my long term health results. Sometimes with diet alone, it's just what you don't do, you don't eat this or that, I mean even healthy food contains calories, but with this, it's more about what you do, and that's a great feeling.
