My Anna is a barker/nipper. It was bearable until we got Willie. He joins right in on her yapping festivities--door bell, fridge kicking on, door knocking, loud cars, anything. I bought a Bark Genie from Amazon and it was delivered yesterday. I am using it sparingly, but so far it is amazing. I say quiet and push the button and hold it down. Anna quiets immediately. Willie takes a few seconds. As far as the nipping, I don't think this will ever be solved with her. When she is frightened or threatened, she lunges. We avoid the situation by putting her in our room when we have visitors. She doesn't behave this way outside of our house, but I tell people up front that she is scared of strangers. This keeps people from trying to pet her.
