No, it's not dangerous...some just have an xtra rib, some are stubby. Momo's protrude a little & when he's lying down a certain way (stretched out w/his tongue hanging out loll), I can see it.

You can have the vet check it out, he/she'll probably feel it when they're examining her.

It sounds like she found the perfect loving home w/you...hope all goes well @ the vet's.
