Agreed. Even though they are our loves, we have to let them know that all humans are higher on the pecking order than they are. When they act up, scold them, put them on the floor and ignore them while you let the hubby or daughter sit down, hug you or whatever. Doggie needs to know that you are in control and do not need them to be the protector of you, but you are the protector of them.
