Because of how cold it was when i got Spice I bought the pad holder and started pee pad training. She completely uses it and if we are outside she will pee but wont poo , saves it for the pad! LOL She will pee 2 times on the pad and I change it , she poos on it which I pick up right away ( one reason is sometimes she decides she wants to have a snack! LOL) and once a month I shampoo her area in case she has had any accidents and people always comment on how nice my house smells when they come in. So this has worked for me . I think as long as you keep the area clean all will be well.
