Actually it really depends. If the bile has a bit of reddish brown color to it, it's not necessarily the biggest deal as the stomach is very vascular and can have some bits of blood in it. But if a dog is truly throwing up blood bloody vomit (not vomit w/ a bit of rustiness), then that's different.
