What anti-histamine are you giving? If it's Benadryl, you *must* give it every 4-6 hours for it even to remain therapeutic as it has a very short half-life. Zyrtec and Claritin are better options bc they are 24hr meds.

I guess I would avoid chicken entirely for a while..but honestly I really doubt it's a food allergy as the itching is SO localized. To me, it sounds like something else is going on. But like I said, won't hurt to avoid chicken and see what happens.

I would also have the nose cultured for ring worm, to be honest.

Is he chewing or licking his paws at all?
