Default Rescue biting etc

It's been 3 weeks now that we rescued Penny. After the whole sickness etc she had been doing fine and even starting to eat kibble and not cry for wet food. But the one thing she was still doing was attacking Alfie which we think is the reason she was given away.

She mainly does it when she is at a height like on the sofa and Alfie is on the floor and even when I have said 'ah' in a loud voice she continues to do it. Even when Alfie goes to lift a toy to play with she goes to attack but stops. This has just happened as I am writing this and both of them are on the floor. She also does it when he is eating his bone (and hers is sitting there untouched). I can picture her doing the same thing with young children and I know that it was an older woman who own her previously and had to give her away because she was looking after her grandchildren. The shelter didn't tell me if she had actually bite someone though. I know this will take time but would love some advise on how to deal with this.

Anyway, the icing on the cake is that she has bit my husband for the third time in the three weeks. The last two times he ignored it but this time he doesn't want anything to do with Penny and now says she is my dog. He also makes more of a fuss of Alfie as if on purpose to make her jealous. I personally think that he is a big immature moron and that it was his fault she bit him. He was kissing her as she was lying down and maybe even sleeping and she bit his nose and was quite close to his eye. I think she even made him bleed a bit too. Although I told her she was a bad girl he was also kissing the last two times when she bit him. I mean you'd think he'd learn and that we can't do then same things we do with Alfie and not with her.....well until she settles and truly trusts us. I know I need to give him time and he will eventually come around to her again.
