- glad you posted! What a big change, going from NY to Austin...but it sounds wonderful; Austin is such a great city. Honestly, I don't have much to recommend only bc your girl sounds so well prepared and well traveled too. The only thing I can really say is to keep her most favorite and familiar things with her so that she has them.

Probably *the* most important thing to have in the ER kit (imo) is Benadryl cut down to 1/4th of a pill size in case of an insect sting or some other allergic reaction that could be an emergency...Benadryl can literally save a life
