I think you should get the vet to show you tube feeding, much less chance of aspiration with this correctly done methodology.


The cataracts should not impair her ability to deliver normally, how-ever her vision will be somewhat obscured the degree depends on the degree of her cataracts. Given the close confines of a whelping box I would imagine she would be able to see well enough.


The tumours could may affect her milk production and let down and also sadly the hormones can also cause accelerated growth of mammary tumours. Which is why I suggest tube feeding. On the breeders site here there is a good whelping pudding recipe and some other usefull tips.
