Poor Samson... Tink is on prescription food (Hills ID Gastro) -I would stick with that unless your vet states otherwise. In my experience, it takes a few days to get to their normal self - and even normal poops (2-3 days in my experience).
Just a word on the sucralfate - it did cause Tink to become constipated, so something to watch for - but the sucralfate did help her belly. But I think it's good that he's wanting to eat, with my experience that means they are feeling better. Best wishes! |
