My boy gets a bath and starts smelling like pee on day three. His hair is medium length and I would like to grow it longer but with this I'm now thinking of chopping it off to see if that works in diminishing the smell 
I have tried a couple of things that didn't work. I have cut his hair from his belly up to where his rib cage starts. You can't tell his hair is cut until you flip him over. I bought a waterless shampoo that while it does take away some of the odor and helps him last 4 days or sometimes a week until his next bath it doesn't help too much. |
I keep the underside around his private area trimmed real short so that when he pees it does not get all over his hair .. Seems to work so far .
